The best practice is to let a pool of wax melt and then blow out the candle before pouring. This prevents soot from getting on the jar and as the candle gets lower, from excessive heat shattering the jar.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn hot weather and very cold weather the candles commonly develop some air bubbles and other visual defects during shipment.
